Hi - I have fitted an ECC83s & ECC82 JJ Electronic tubes today and they have made a good amp even better - much better tonalaity - richness and fuller harmonics - they aren't as harsh as the originals a more mellow (ie: not as raspy) response yet they break up nicely when pushed ... Well worth the few dollars spent - Try some for yourself, I think you will be well pleased ...

i experienced the same thing with mine using JJ's - they seem to work well in the venues...
